Problem Statement
CarMatrix car sales employees need access to an electronic car inventory system which is currently paper based. They will be able to have access the different cars that are for sale. They will be using their company desk Computer or company issued PDAs to access the information. Each sales employee will be able to sign in to the database and look for which car is available to sell to the customer. Sales employees will have to sign into the web database to gain access. Once a sale has been finalized, the employee will sign back into the database and update the information showing that he/he had made a sale, which car has been sold and to which customer. An electronic receipt will be mailed to the customer and to management.
Ver 2.0
CarMatrix employees need an electronic car inventory system for more efficiency. They are currently paper based. An employee or employer will have certain access to specific levels of the database. Each employee will be able to sign in to the database and based on his/her level of clearance, can conduct their specific tasks. Employees will have to sign into the web database to gain access. Once a transaction has been finalized, the employee will sign back into the database and update the information showing that he/he had made a sale, which car has been sold and to which customer. Electronic updates will be emailed to management.
